Sam Hunt Delivers Intense New Music Video for “Break Up In A Small Town”
Hunt Set to Perform on the 49th Annual CMA Awards Nov. 4
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 19, 2015) – MCA Nashville’s Sam Hunt released an emotional new music video today for his latest single, “Break Up In A Small Town.” Already Gold-certified and climbing country radio’s Top 25, “Break Up In A Small Town” is Hunt’s fourth single off his critically-acclaimed debut album, Montevallo. “Break Up In A Small Town” follows Hunt’s three consecutive Platinum-selling No. 1’s, “Leave the Night On,” “Take Your Time” and “House Party” – all three of which hold positions in the Top 5 most-streamed country tracks year-to-date.
Teaming up with director Tim Mattia, who also directed the video for Hunt’s mega-hit “Take Your Time,” Hunt elevates the emotional tortures of a breakup with dramatic visuals while keeping ambiguity around the ex’s identity.
Also revealed today, Hunt is set to perform on the 49th Annual CMA Awards airing live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 4 at 8pm ET on ABC. Hunt is nominated in three categories including New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year (“Take Your Time”) and Song of the Year (“Take Your Time”).
