COLE SWINDELL TO RELEASE SECOND DOWN HOME SESSIONS EP NOVEMBER 6th
Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville recording artist notches another
Top 10 single with “Let Me See Ya Girl”
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – October 15, 2015 – Rising country star Cole Swindell is set to release his second Down Home Sessions EP on November 6th, a week before the kick off of his fall headlining tour. The five-song project will be available for pre-order exclusively at iTunes beginning October 28th.
Swindell’s accompanying Down Home Tour begins November 11th at the PlayStation Theater (formerly the Best Buy Theatre) in New York as a part of the inaugural country edition of Monster Energy’s Outbreak Tour. The Down Home Tour series follows last year’s successful run and already boasts several sold-out dates. Special guest Adam Sanders, co-writer of Swindell’s previous and platinum-certified single “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey,” is set to open on the five-week journey.
In addition to the upcoming EP release and tour, Swindell has nabbed the fourth consecutive Top 10 single from his debut self-titled album with “Let Me See Ya Girl,” which is currently No. 6 on the chart. His achievements in the past year include the 2015 ACM New Artist of the Year Award as well as the CMA Triple Play Award for earning (at least) three No. 1 songs in a 12-month period. His Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville album, Cole Swindell, boasts 3.3 million tracks and over 430,000 albums sold to date, along with more than 130 million streams.
Swindell also recently took part in an original video series called “Building Hope” that documents the stories of five veterans as they settle into new, mortgage-free homes in their southern communities. He joined in on the collaborative effort between Time Inc.’s Southern Living, the nonprofit Operation FINALLY HOME and sponsor JCPenney by surprising one of the families with tickets to the 49th Annual CMA Awards and a private show. Along with appearing on the November 2nd episode of “Building Hope,” Swindell will be featured in two JCPenney television commercials promoting the series which will debut during the awards.
