With hosts Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson at the helm, the evening was filled with effortless humor and quick wit, as the newly formed trio's remarkable chemistry kept the audience laughing and eagerly anticipating every moment.

NASHVILLE, TN - Nov. 19, 2024 - BMI presented its 2024 BMI Country Awards this evening, honoring the unparalleled career of BMI Icon Award recipient Randy Owen as well as the Country Songwriter, Song and Publisher of the Year. The 72nd annual event also celebrated the top songwriters and music publishers behind this past year’s 50 most-performed songs in Country music. BMI’s President & CEO Mike O’Neill hosted the evening alongside Nashville’s VP, Creative, Clay Bradley.

Specials guests included Jon Pardi, Tracy Byrd, and Ella Langley. To announce this show Cody attended batting practice and threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a home Texas Rangers game this spring and returned to the field to perform the National Anthem at the 2024 MLB All-Star Game in July.
