ENCINO, CA (March 25, 2019) – The Academy of Country Music® revealed the winners of the new artist categories for the 54TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™, Country Music’s Party of the Year®. Luke Combs, LANCO and Ashley McBryde have been named New Male Artist of the Year, New Group of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year, respectively. The winners each received a surprise phone call from 14-time ACM Award® winner, two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and current ACM Award nominee Carrie Underwood, who won the 2005 New Female Vocalist category at the 2006 ACM Awards.

 Show hosted by Lorrie Morgan and Whitley’s son Jesse Whitley to include performances by Country Music Hall of Fame member Garth Brooks, Tom Buller, Mark Chestnut, Larry Cordle, Caleb Daugherty, Kevin Denney, Wesley Dennis, Joe Diffie, Corey Farlow, Carl Jackson, Cory and Dustin Keefe, Tracy Lawrence, Jesse Whitley, Mark Wills, Darryl Worley and Trisha Yearwood.

WHAT: On Thursday, May 9, 2019, the 30th anniversary of Keith Whitley’s death, Whitley’s friends, family and fans will remember him at the Keith Whitley 30th Anniversary Memorial Tribute Concert.  The night will honor his memory and pay tribute to Whitley’s artistic contributions to country and bluegrass music. Lorrie Morgan and Whitley’s son Jesse Keith Whitley will host the evening.

ENCINO, CA (March 8, 2019) – The Academy of Country Music® announced more than a dozen of country music’s biggest stars and hottest new talents have been added to the 7th Annual ACM Party for a Cause® performance lineup, including Jimmie Allen, Carlton Anderson, Big Kenny, Jordan Davis, Brantley Gilbert, Ashley Gorley, Adam Hambrick, Caylee Hammack, Tracy Lawrence, Scotty McCreery, Chase McGill, AJ McLean, Jamie O’Neal, Josh Osborne, Carly Pearce and Cassadee Pope. Additionally, it was announced that Shawn Parr and Big Kenny will host the ACM Awards Official After Party presented by Security Benefit. Since it’s release June 2, 2017, the album has spent a total of 27 non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, including 16 weeks in 2018—making it the highest selling country album last year with 1.1 million equivalent album units sold and the only country album to surpass 1 million album units. It’s also the most-streamed country album of 2019 so far.
