Nashville, TN – GRAMMY®-nominated Arista Nashville/RCA Records singer/songwriter Cam performed her Top-5-and-climbing smash single, “Burning House,” Tuesday morning on NBC’s Today show.  The California-native’s debut appearance on Today was made all the more special with the surprise presentation of a plaque celebrating the RIAA Platinum certification of “Burning House.”

Ranked as #1 on Rolling Stone Country’s “25 Best Country Songs of 2015,” “Burning House” is one of 11 songs featured on Cam’s December 11 album release, Untamed.  With the success of “Burning House,” Cam is the only female country artist this year to achieve a Platinum single from a major-label debut album released in 2015.

Fans can also be watching for Cam on the televised special, American Country Countdown’s Top 10 Stories of 2015, airing tonight, at 8 PM/ET (and re-airing December 25 at 9 PM/ET) on FOX.

This week, the song that earned Cam her GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Solo Performance climbs to #4 on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck country airplay charts, as Cam and her Untamed album have amassed a growing list of media accolades.

The New York Times declares Cam “a 21st-century radio-ready performer,” promising, “Cam’s voice is strong enough to seize the foreground, and her songs deserve the push.”

The Washington Post touts Untamed as “one of the year’s strongest country albums,” while the Associated Press says that “it’s the timelessness of her strengths that make Cam an artist to watch” and “a Dolly Parton for the 21st century,” hailing her as “a talented singer who has charisma and an ability to connect with real-life issues in fresh ways.”

Featured in Entertainment Weekly’s “Must List” of “The Top 10 Things We Love This Week,” Untamed has already garnered praise from EW as a “stellar debut,” citing Cam’s “Burning House” as “the most complete sum of her parts as an artist: emotional, affective, and gorgeously and simply sung.”

With each song co-written by Cam, Untamed was produced by GRAMMY®-winner and current Producer of the Year, Non-Classical GRAMMY nominee Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, BeyoncĂ©, FUN., The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift) and two-time Album of the Year GRAMMY nominee Tyler Johnson (Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Mikky Ekko).
