Country Superstar Promotes 13th Studio Album with Appearances in Los Angeles and Nashville
Performing on ACCA Awards May 1
Multiple Grammy© nominee Martina McBride has sold over 18 million albums to date, charting 20 Top 10 singles and six #1 hits. Her forthcoming thirteenth studio album RECKLESS is due out this Friday, April 29th and marks her first on Nash Icon Records. The title track serves as Martina’s first single from the innovative imprint under the Big Machine Label Group umbrella. Music critics are already raving about her undeniable talents on the new project with PEOPLE Magazine highlighting RECKLESS as their “People Pick” of the week: “…the work of a singer whose connection to a song is so emotionally direct and uncluttered there’s no doubting her.” The outlet goes on to say that it is “a deeply satisfying new album.”
USA TODAY featured RECKLESS in print on April 27, exclusively previewing a track called “It Ain’t Pretty” online:
She also spoke with TASTE OF COUNTRY for a cover story:
Martina was in Los Angeles last week to honor Linda Ronstadt during the "GRAMMY Salute to Music Legends” tribute, slated to air on PBS later this year. The powerhouse vocalist also stopped by ACCESS HOLLYWOOD LIVE to chat with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about her new music.

Her one-on-one interview with CBS’ THE INSIDER and catch up session with EXTRA host Charissa Thompson both aired last night.
During a rare moment at home in Nashville, Martina chatted with ROLLING STONE Country:, who raves that “the production throughout… is minimal, allowing for the lyrics and her unparalleled vocals to take center stage.”
The Superstar is also slated to perform on the American Country Countdown Awards live broadcast from Los Angeles May 1 on FOX.
Martina's career boasts high-mark sales with 14 Gold records, Nine Platinum honors, three Double Platinum Records, and two Triple Platinum awards. Martina has earned more than 15 major music awards, including four wins from the Country Music Association and three titles from the Academy of Country Music for Female Vocalist of the Year.
