The weekend was capped off with deafening cheers at Lainey Wilson’s Atlanta show, when Brooks & Dunn surprised fans at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. Together the three performed their new collaboration of "Play Something Country," featured on REBOOT II. Released last month, the propulsive country anthem showcases the duo's signature honky-tonk style alongside Wilson’s vibrant energy, creating a powerful blend of country with a ZZ Top-inspired flair. The unexpected collaboration not only energized the crowd but also underscored the seamless connection between these iconic artists, celebrating both Brooks & Dunn’s legacy and the future of country music.
REBOOT II, the sequel to Brooks & Dunn’s acclaimed 2019 project, features an exciting lineup of today's most innovative musicians, including Wilson, Morgan Wallen, Marcus King Band, Megan Moroney, Warren Zeiders, Jelly Roll, Riley Green, The Cadillac Three, Halestorm, Mitchell Tenpenny, The Earls of Leicester, Jake Worthington, Hailey Whitters, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, HARDY, ERNEST, A Thousand Horses and Corey Kent. Each artist was given creative freedom to reinterpret the duo's beloved hits as their own, putting wildly different spins on the beloved songs. Spanning genres from progressive country to metal to orchestral pop, the 18-track album transforms the very fabric of classic B&D songs, as the artists were encouraged to break conventions and explore new sonic landscapes. Fans can pre-order and pre-save the album ahead of its Nov. 15 release HERE. |
