NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (February 5, 2024) – 3x GRAMMY Award-winners Dan + Shay make a ‘big’ impact at Country radio today with their new single “Bigger Houses.” Boasting an impressive 86 stations on impact, the title track off the duo’s fifth studio album is the no. 1 most-added song at Country radio today.

 

The new single, written by the band’s Dan Smyers, along with Andy Albert, Jordan Minton, and Jordan Reynolds, follows Dan + Shay’s TENTH No. 1 hit “Save Me The Trouble,” which, like “Bigger Houses,” was also the most added song the week it arrived on Country radio.

 

As “Bigger Houses” begins to span across the Country radio airwaves, Dan + Shay set their sights on what will prove to be an exciting month for the duo. Beginning February 26th Dan + Shay will make their debut on Season 25 of NBC’s The Voice, marking the first-ever coaching duo for the Emmy-winning program. Three days later, on February 29th, Dan + Shay kick off The Heartbreak On The Map Tour in Greenville, South Carolina.

Bigger Houses follows the duo’s record shattering, critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning, PLATINUM album, Good Things. Also co-produced by Smyers, the highly imaginative LP featured the country radio No. 1’s – the PLATINUM-certified hits “I Should Probably Go To Bed” and 2x Platinum “Glad You Exist,” as well as the 5x PLATINUM, Spotify billionaire club, global smash “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber. Good Things was also the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification at release and is one of the only 12 albums all-genre to be released and go Gold in 2021.

 

In addition, Dan + Shay will become the first-ever coaching duo on NBC’s Emmy-winning program The Voice, joining Reba McEntire, John Legend and Chance the Rapper for season 25 airing Spring 2024. The pair will bring a wealth of experience to their team, with a long list of impressive accolades that include becoming the first and only artist to win the GRAMMY Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance 3x consecutively since the category’s inception (2021 – “10,000 Hours,” 2020 – “Speechless,” 2019 – “Tequila”). Dan + Shay claimed their third consecutive win for Favorite Country Duo or Group at the American Music Awards (2022), where they began their streak by sweeping their categories in 2020, becoming the first country artist ever to win Collaboration of the Year. In addition, the 3x ACM Awards Duo of the Year and 2x CMA Awards Duo of the Year winners were named Top Country Duo/Group at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
