NASHVILLE, Tenn.— Country music trailblazer Hunter Hayes continues his trek on a new chapter in his music journey with the release of his new song “One Good Reason.” The emotional ballad, written and produced by Hayes and Sam Ellis, tells the always complicated story of the reasons behind a breakup and serves as the fourth song off of his upcoming album expected later this year. It can be heard HERE.

“'One Good Reason' represents a totally different side of this album and was another very personal song to write,” says Hayes of his latest release. “It’s also one good reason for me to celebrate releasing another song from this upcoming album that I can’t wait for the world to hear.”

The highly acclaimed multi-instrumentalist recently treated his loyal fans at his sold-out CMA Fest fan club party to a performance of the new track, which was officially released at midnight last Friday (June 14). It was one of the many highlights in a jam-packed CMA Fest week for Hayes, who not only served as a presenter at the CMT Awards on June 5 but also played the popular Spotify House at Ole Red on the opening night of the festival.

Other CMA Fest performances for Hayes included a CMA Foundation pop-up concert, a co-headlining spot at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater and an always highly-anticipated concert on the Riverfront Stage. And much like past years, Hayes also found the time to also meet fans and sign at the CMA booth.

On top of all this, the 27-year-old Louisiana native also continues to experience the building success of his current radio single “Heartbreak.” His first single in nearly three years, “Heartbreak” has garnered over 16.3 OD streams and over 922k streams this week alone.
