GARTH BROOKS CAPTIVATES RECORD-BREAKING CROWD AT DENVER’S MILE HIGH STADIUM AS HE CONTINUES MONUMENTAL THE GARTH BROOKS STADIUM TOUR
Nashville, TN - June 11, 2019 – Garth Brooks entertained a record-breaking audience Saturday (6/8) at Denver, CO’s Mile High Stadium with 84,500 fans, making it the “largest ticketed event in Broncos stadium history,” (Denver Post) breaking the previous record of 77,000 set by U2 in 2011. Breaking stadium records at each stop on THE GARTH BROOKS STADIUM TOUR, Brooks has continued to show why he remains one of most powerful live draws in the world with Denver Post noting “Brooks is as famous for his concerts as he is for his songs, and it’s easy to see why.”
Since launching the tour, Brooks has broken attendance records in St. Louis, MO at The Dome at America's Center, Glendale, AZ at State Farm Stadium, Gainesville, FL at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, two sold-out nights at Minneapolis, MN’s U.S. Bank Stadium and Denver, CO at Mile High Stadium. Additional upcoming shows are already sold-out in Eugene, OR at Autzen Stadium on 6/29 with Regina, SK’s Mosaic Stadium show on 7/10 and Boise, ID’s Albertsons Stadium show on 7/20 both selling out in under an hour, averaging just over 75,000 tickets in each city.
Brooks also surprised fans with upcoming new music last week, revealing a duet with Blake Shelton on the track “Dive Bar” and sharing that fans will get to hear the song for first time live when Shelton joins him at the newly added show in Boise, ID on 7/19. Co-written by Mitch Rossell/Bryan Kennedy/Garth Brooks, “Dive Bar” is taken from his forthcoming studio album FUN and will be available at country radio on 6/18 at 6am ET.
