Nashville, TN – Columbia Nashville singer/songwriter and FOUR-time GRAMMY nominee Maren Morris will perform with 15-time GRAMMY winner Alicia Keys during a highly anticipated GRAMMY moment at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards live on CBS, February 12.
Morris who is nominated for four GRAMMY Awards this year, Best New Artist, Best Country Album (HERO), Best Country Song ("My Church"), and Best Country Solo Performance ("My Church"), is also confirmed to perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week (February 2), The Talk (February 9) and a special Valentine’s Day performance on NCIS: New Orleans (February 14).
The Arlington, Tx native kicks off her headlining SOLD OUT The HERO Tour 2017 on Thursday night for two shows in New York City at the Bowery Ballroom. Following her two shows in NY, Morris takes her tour to Boston (2/3) and Philadelphia (2/4) to round out the first weekend of The HERO Tour 2017.

Twenty-six year old Columbia Nashville singer/songwriter Maren Morris has quickly established herself with vocal styling’s that reflect her country, folk and pop influences. Armed with sheer talent, honest lyrics and a completely magnetic presence, Morris has entered the Country music format like a lioness. Morris’ label-debut album, HERO, released via Columbia Nashville on June 3 and one week after it was available, HERO entered the Billboard Country Albums chart at No. 1 and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, which spans across all genres. Later in 2016 Morris tied for the most nominations with FIVE at the 50th Annual CMA Awards, including Album of the Year (HERO), Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year (“My Church”), Song of the Year (“My Church”) and New Artist of the Year which she won, marking her first CMA Award. Morris also received the most nominations for a Country music artist with FOUR to her credit for the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards including BEST NEW ARTIST, BEST COUNTRY ALBUM (HERO), BEST COUNTRY SONG and BEST COUNTRY SOLO PERFORMANCE, both for “My Church.” She was tapped by Billboard Magazine to receive the Billboard ‘BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST’ Award at the 11th annual Billboard Women in Music Gala as well as being awarded the Breakthrough Artist Award by the Music Business Association at Music Biz 2017.
Her current single at radio is the fan favorite “80s Mercedes” a song that Billboard says “will set the mood for summertime” and was written by Morris and busbee, who also co-wrote “My Church.” Morris has appeared on Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, NBC’s Today, CBS Sunday Morning, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Chelsea, Sprout’s Sunny Side Up, the 50th Annual CMA Awards, CMT Music Awards and recently wrapped the Keith Urban RipCORD World Tour 2016.
