Nashville, Tenn. (June 30, 2016) – On August 5th, 2016, Big Loud Records' breakthrough artist
Chris Lane will release his eagerly-anticipated debut album,
GIRL PROBLEMS – but the country heartthrob is having no problems on his path up the charts. As current single
“Fix” blazes into the Top 10 at country radio, fans and celebrities alike are flocking to Lane’s irresistible pop-country sound: “Fix” just passed 19 million streams on Spotify, over 3 million views on Vevo, and
Selena Gomez recently called it her favorite song.
“While in the studio working on the album, I started to notice a trend … every song seemed to be about some type of ‘girl problem’,” laughs Lane. “So it was only fitting to title the album GIRL PROBLEMS!”
GIRL PROBLEMS – which continues Lane’s relationship with superstar producer
Joey Moi – will be available for
pre-order on July 12 at a reduced presale price, and fans who’ve been wearing out Lane’s
FIX EP since its release last fall can at last complete their album. Media have applauded Lane’s bold, fresh sound and standout falsetto; with early raves including
ROLLING STONE’s “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know,”
YOUNG HOLLYWOOD's “Artist To Watch” list,
HELLO! Magazine's “People You Will Be Talking About” and
GLAMOUR’s “Music We Love.” Lane has won shout-outs from massive industry names like Florida Georgia Line, Lucy Hale, Daughtry, and more after starting his career selling out club shows in his hometown of Kernersville, NC, before going on to open for Dustin Lynch’s sold-out HELL OF A NIGHT Tour.
Lane is spending his summer on the RHYTHM & ROOTS Tour, opening for Rascal Flatts and Kelsea Ballerini.
