Nashville, TN – Columbia Nashville singer/songwriter Maren Morris is set to release, HERO, the Texas native’s first major label full length album tomorrow, Friday, June 3. The album, which Morris co-wrote and co-produced, is called an “outstanding major label debut” by the New York Times and spawned Morris’ debut, RIAA Gold-certified hit song, “My Church.”

For the release of HERO Morris will head to the Big Apple to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (Monday, June 6), NBC’s TODAY (Tuesday, June 7) and the CMT Music Awards (Wednesday, June 8) where she is nominated for FEMALE VIDEO OF THE YEAR and BREAKTHROUGH VIDEO OF THE YEAR for her first-ever music video for “My Church” which was shot in her home state of Texas. Check your local listings for broadcast times.

In addition to her multiple television appearances, Morris will perform at the 2016 CMA Music Festival in Nashville (Thursday, June 9) and the 2016 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester (Sunday, June 12).

Furthermore, Morris’ first major tour, Keith Urban’s “ripCORD World Tour 2016,” is underway, beginning last night in Kansas City, MO, tonight in St. Louis, MO and then to Indianapolis, IN this weekend (Saturday, June 4). The tour will take Morris to most major markets including Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Philadelphia, Dallas, Chicago, Minneapolis and Washington, DC before wrapping in Brooklyn, NY on November 19 at the Barclays Center.

Earlier this year Morris was tapped as a CMT “Next Women of Country” and a “2016 Listen Up” Artist, described as a “one woman southern gospel choir” [Storme Warren, SiriusXM’s The Highway] and appeared on multiple “Watch Lists” including USA Today (5 Musicians To Watch Out For in 2016), SiriusXM (Artists to Watch in 2016), Huffington Post (#1 on their Country Artist’s to Watch in 2016), Boston Globe (16 Artists To Look Forward to Hearing in 2016) and Billboard, where Morris was featured as one of seven artists across all genres in the January 16 “Predictions Issue.”
