Joey Feek Passes Away

Joey Feek (September 7, 1975 – March 4, 2016)

Nashville, TN (March 4, 2016) — It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Joey Feek of country duo Joey+Rory, and a beloved member of the Sugar Hill family. She died this afternoon in Indiana, where they have spent the last several months surrounded by her family.  Rounder Label Group COO Cliff O'Sullivan said, “We are deeply saddened by Joey’s passing. She was a great talent, and Joey+Rory will always be a part of our musical family. In 2012, Sugar Hill released the duo’s ‘When I’m Gone,’ which has now taken on a heartbreaking significance with Joey’s death. Joey + Rory are loved as artists, parents, and people, and our hearts go out to Rory and their families.”
