NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (March 25, 2025) – Multi-Platinum, ACM Award-winning superstar Cole Swindell will release his fifth studio album, Spanish Moss, on June 27. The title track will be available Friday (HERE). Spanish Moss includes Swindell’s current Top 10 and rising emotionally personal “Forever To Me,” which he co-wrote (with Greylan James and Rocky Block) in honor of his engagement and wedding to his new bride Courtney last year. As the best country songs are able to do, “Forever To Me” now transcends time and different stages now also marking and honoring the news of the upcoming birth of his first child this fall, a daughter. The proud husband and soon to be first-time Dad released a special remix digital only release last month of “Forever To Me (Our Version)” for his fans. Watch video HERE which includes never before seen footage from his and Courtney’s wedding.

Spanish Moss has been a work in progress for over 2 years now,” said Swindell. “I knew it would be a tough task following up Stereotype and the success we had from that album, but sometimes a challenge can be motivating and exactly what’s needed to grow. For me, the album making process has always had a common theme ... best song wins. Although it’s never that simple.

He adds, “Life has changed a lot for me in the best way since the last project and I wanted to be able write and sing about those blessings while also not forgetting where I came from and the pain from the past. One of the beautiful things about music is even though you may not be currently going through something at this very moment, more than likely someone out there IS. I think this album is balanced that way and has a little bit of everything from songs like: ‘Kill A Prayer,’ ‘Dirty Dancing,’ ‘Forever to Me’ to ‘Dale Jr.,’ ‘Country Boy Can’t Survive,’ and ‘Heads Up Heaven.’

“The day we wrote the song ‘Spanish Moss’ I could tell we had something special and different for me, and I even thought to myself then ‘Spanish Moss could be such a cool album title’ considering it holds a special place in my heart and reminds me of where my Dad lived when I was growing up. From working with songwriters and producers I had never worked with to going back to the drawing board more times than I care to mention, I think having that patience and taking those chances really made this project what it was always meant to be and unlike anything I’ve ever done. I can’t wait for everyone to hear the entire album from top to bottom and I truly hope they can find a little of themselves and their own stories somewhere along the way in Spanish Moss.”

As Swindell does with each new music release, staying true to his loyal Down Home Crew, the award-winning songwriter began revealing details on his fifth Warner Music Nashville album including the title, release date, cover and track listing to them throughout the weeks leading up to today’s official announce.

Swindell burst on to the scene just with chart-topping, high-energy party anthems like “Chillin’ In,” “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “Let Me See Ya Girl” but quickly proved the depths of his songwriting and artistry with emotional ballads “You Should Be Here,” “Middle of a Memory” and “Break Up In The End.” More recently, he has shown progression releasing his fiery powerhouse duet “Never Say Never” and again showed his uniquely talented songwriting with the twist on a ‘90s classic in “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” followed up by the energy-filled hard charging crowd favorite “Drinkaby” and now to feature where life has guided him showing the more emotional and personal side with “Forever To Me.”
