NASHVILLE, TN – Jun. 07, 2023 – BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) launched into this week’s 50th annual CMA Fest by celebrating BMI singer/songwriter and multi-Platinum entertainer Thomas Rhett’s 7 out of 20 most recent career chart-topping No. 1s - all 7 of which Thomas Rhett co-wrote. Hosted by BMI and ASCAP, the lunchtime party held yesterday on the rooftop of BMI’s Nashville location celebrated how Thomas Rhett’s career has touched countless corners of Nashville’s tight-knit songwriting community. The event recognized everyone from newly minted hit songwriters to songwriting legends as well as a few of Thomas Rhett’ collaborators and friends including Riley Green and Jon Pardi. Attendees enjoyed Martin’s BBQ while toasting to the success behind Thomas Rhett’s hits “Remember You Young,” “Beer Can’t Fix” feat. Jon Pardi, “Be A Light” feat. Reba, Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin, Keith Urban, “What’s Your Country Song,” “Country Again,” “Slow Down Summer” and “Half of Me” feat. Riley Green.

Sponsored Studio Bank, Music, Arts & Entertainment Executive, Ron Cox, made a special donation presentation on behalf of Thomas Rhett and the songwriters to Love One International, which transforms the lives of children and families in Uganda through life-saving medical care and family preservation. The event, which was also sponsored by First Horizon, ended with a surprise plaque presentation to Thomas Rhett by his record label, BMLG/The Valory Music Co., for his milestone achievement of 20 career No. 1s.
