Kane Brown Debut Album 12-2

RCA NASHVILLE/ZONE 4’S KANE BROWN PREVIEWS DEBUT ALBUM

Nashville, TN —Last night industry guests gathered in Nashville for an intimate listening event with RCA Nashville/Zone 4’s Kane Brown to preview his upcoming self-titled debut album. The evening featured playing tracks from the new album as well as live performances by Kane which included a cover of Randy Travis’ “Three Wooden Crosses”--a nod to singer/songwriter Brown’s rise in the industry from posting cover songs online, as well as Brown’s surprise meeting with the legendary Travis earlier this month.  The pre-order for Kane Brown, out December 2nd, is available here.
The self-titled album marks the first full length LP for the “viral sensation” [Noisey], who has been noted for "breaking country's rules" [Billboard] and as “an artist to pay attention to” [Rolling Stone Country]. Brown has been recognized as an “Artist To Watch” by Billboard, HITS and Huffington Post, and was recently selected to Ticketmaster’s first ever New Music Favorites series. Brown’s self-released EP Chapter 1, debuted in March 2016 at No. 3 on the Billboard Country albums chart, No. 9 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums all genre chart, and hit No. 1 on the iTunes Country Albums and iTunes Overall Albums charts, all prior to radio air play. His breakout co-penned single “Used To Love You Sober” was recently certified GOLD by the RIAA and his current single “Thunder in the Rain” marks Brown’s fifth song to be propelled to No. 1 on the iTunes Country Charts with the help of his dedicated fan base.
Known for his unparalleled fan connection, Brown first became known to fans for posting cover and original songs to his personal Facebook page, where he has independently grown his fanbase to more than 3 million followers. On June 16, Brown released the track “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now” to digital and streaming retailers after he previewed the song via his Facebook page, where the clip garnered 11.1 million views and 212k shares. His cover of George Strait’s “Check Yes Or No” from September 2015 has received more than 10 million views to date, and a recently previewed video of his autobiographical original song named “Learning” immediately received millions views in less than an hour.
After recently wrapping an opening run on Florida Georgia Line’s 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour, Brown is currently headlining the Monster Energy Outbreak Presents Kane Brown Ain't No Stopping Us Now Tour. The tour will visit 30 markets between November and January, including stops December 3rd at New York City’s Irving Plaza and January 6th at the Belasco Theater.
